1. Regarding the selection of shipping schedule

Huangpu Vietnam, direct ships only have Thursday customs clearance/Saturday departure and arrive at the port in 2 days. For goods that are in a hurry, the first priority is definitely a direct ship. Based on our suggestion, the customer has booked a ship schedule with May 29th customs clearance and May 30th departure.

On May 26th, we confirmed the production progress with the factory and when the container can be loaded. The factory replied that the earliest possible container loading would be on the afternoon of the 28th. However, our booked shipping schedule is to close customs at 12:00 noon on the 29th. Eight HQ shipments will be declared in one shipment, and the factory's declaration header is a new header. The probability of inspection in this situation is higher. Therefore, we analyzed two sets of solutions for the customer:

Option 1: According to the plan, the containers will be loaded in the afternoon of the 28th and declared in the morning of the 29th. The declaration will be divided into 8 shipments. If the containers can be declared and released, they will be scheduled to depart on May 30th. If the containers are not released, they will have to wait for the next ship's departure on April 6th. (There is a risk of some containers incurring storage fees in this plan, which can ensure that at least most containers can arrive at the port on time as required.)

Option 2: The goods will be produced on May 28th, loaded into containers on May 30th, and all containers will be shipped on June 6th. (This plan will not incur any additional costs, and the shipping schedule can arrive at the port according to the required time.)

We have analyzed these two options for the client and suggest that they choose the second option to avoid the risk of additional costs.

2. Storage position application

According to the booking company, there are two ports available for selection: Jisi Port and Xinsha Port. After repeatedly insisting on understanding that Jisi Port was unable to reply to the storage space, I decisively chose to rebook and export from Xinsha Port in order to catch up with the shipping schedule and delivery time. As a company that has been importing dangerous goods from Jisi and Xinsha for a long time, this is our first attempt to export dangerous goods from Xinsha Port. In order to ensure a smooth process from order processing to customs clearance, the customer service manager went deep into the port operation site to ensure the smooth progress of services.

3. Container loading

The vehicles we arranged were from the morning of the 30th to 4 units, and from the afternoon to 4 units. As the customer was exporting this type of goods for the first time, they were not familiar with container loading and could not find a better way to load them. The goods were large and heavy, and it was not until 5 pm that two containers were loaded.

After our driver gave feedback on the situation over the phone, we used our experience to discuss how it would be better to load the containers together. Later, we made reasonable use of the power of forklifts and workers, and successfully loaded all the containers by 3am on the 31st.

4. Customs declaration

The customer chose the second solution, which was to declare customs for 8 containers per shipment, with a very large amount of money. The customer was very concerned about abnormal situations such as inspection and on-site transfer, and asked about the progress of customs declaration after a period of time. However, our customs broker is an old customs broker with more than ten years of experience and qualifications. In less than a day, they applied for a dangerous goods certificate (identification result form for the use of packaging for export dangerous goods transportation) at Dongguan Customs, and completed customs clearance and maritime release at 4 pm on the 31st. The shipping date is June 6th, and we will wait for the ship to dock before loading the goods. This will calm the customer's mind.

5. Loading and sailing

The ship docked at Huangpu Port in the early morning of June 6th, and 8 40HQ containers were successfully loaded onto the ship and set sail at 5pm on June 6th. In the early morning of June 8th, the destination port customer received the arrival notice and cleared customs and picked up the goods smoothly.
